Its efficient control engine and universal programming environment ensure portability for use with multiple hardware platforms. It comes with 3 communication ports that are the Ethernet, USB, and RS-323 ports. Ethernet communication is provided through the Modbus TCP/IP, SRTP client/server, OPC-UA server, and EGD portocols. This embedded Ethernet interface is used to connect the module to the PacSystems machine edition programmer. The data rate of the Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps. The mounting option for the module is rack mounting. The IC695CPE302 CPU module is shipped with the IC695ACC400 module for backup power, a real-time clock battery, and a 3-foot cable.
