The IC693CPU366 CPU module for the GE Fanuc PLC systems comes with integrated Profibus master support. A serial port is also available on the IC693CPU366 module.

The GE Fanuc IC693CPU366 module is a CPU module with a Profibus master device for the GE Series 90-30 PLC systems. The embedded Profibus master device enables the CPU to send and receive data from the Profibus networks. Connection to the Profibus networks is made through a 9-pin female RS-485 port. The data rates supported for the Profibus networks include 9.6 kbps, 19.2 kbps, 500 kbps, 1.5 Mbps, 3 Mbps, 6 Mbps, and 12 Mbps. The battery life of the module is 10 months at 25 degrees Celsius and it is 5.5 months at 60 degrees Celsius. The IC693CPU366 module can be programmed with the Machine Edition Logic Developer software that is the PLC version 5.0 SP1 or later.
