The GE Fanuc IC693CMM321 Ethernet interface module can connect a variety of GE Series 90-30 PLCs to the Ethernet network for communication. It can function as a client module or as a server module, depending on the application.

The IC693CMM321 module is an Ethernet interface TCP/IP module from GE Fanuc in the Series 90-30 product line. The IC693CMM321 Ethernet interface module allows a Series 90-30 programmable logic controller or PLC to be connected to an Ethernet LAN. This connection is made with an AAUI cable and an external transceiver and this connection makes communication with host devices and with other control devices through the Ethernet network possible. The IC693CMM321 Ethernet interface module can function as either a client device or a server device. It acts as a client device when it initiates communication connections with other GE PLCs that have Ethernet interfaces, and it acts as a server device when it only responds to requests from other devices.
