The IC660BLM506 plug should be connected to the female end of the cable. There are 4 types of wiring that can be typically found in an industrial installation system. There's the power wiring for high power loads, the control wiring to the start and stop switches and limit switches, the analog wiring to the transducer outputs and communications, and the signals wiring. These 4 different types of wring should be separated to minimize hazards from miswiring and noise.
