Redundant Processor Unit Auxiliary Power Supply

The GE Fanuc IC600PM508 Auxiliary Power Supply Module is an AC power supply module for the GE Series Six Redundant Processor Unit (RPU). This power supply module accepts AC source inputs rated at 115 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC and it supplies +12 Volts DC and +5 Volts DC backplane power for operation and the configuration of I/O modules on the backplane. The Series Six RPU module can operate on either a single power supply or on 2 power supply modules which are 1 main power supply and an auxiliary power supply like the IC600PM508 Module. During wiring, a standard 115 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC source is connected to the module’s terminals, and it is re-routed through a 2 Amps rated built-in fuse, a line filter, and finally to the switching power supply.
