The GE Fanuc IC695LRE001 module is a serial bus transmitter module manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms/GE Fanuc as part of the RX3i series. This module is designed and intended to provide communications between the serial expansion and remote backplanes and the RX3i PacSystems universal backplane. Its function is to translate the levels within the universal backplane to signal levels as needed by the serial expansion backplane. The IC695LRE001 serial bus terminal has a single slot. It comes with the RS-232 serial port for communication purposes and it has an effective data rate of 500 KB per second. This unit features LEDs that indicate the operation status of the module and the expansion link.
