The RX3i PacSystem IC694BEM331 controller is a Genius Bus controller. It has been manufactured by GE Fanuc.

The IC694BEM331 controller is a GE manufactured bus controller device. The main function of the controller is to interface easily with an RX3i PAC system and a serial bus I/O. It can easily work with different blocks, controllers, remote drops, I/O stations, and handheld monitoring devices. At 1 time, the controller can exchange 128 up to bytes of data on the I/O bus. The front part of the Genius bus controller has 2 LEDs to show the operation status of the bus controller and the communication bus. Both of the LEDs should be illuminated green during regular operation. The IC694BEM331 controller supports different data rates that can also be configured. It has 153.5 K baud for standard/extended communication, and an additional communication rate of 76.8/38.4 K baud.
