Communications Control Module Type 2 CB536 GE Series Six Module Board

The IC600CB536 control module is a Type 2 communication control module that is manufactured as a member of the GE Fanuc Series Six product line. This module supports 2 types of system configurations which are the multidrop and point-to-point configurations. For the point-to-point configurations, only a maximum of 2 devices can be connected on the same communication line, which is then connected through the RS-232 or RS-422 port. Additionally, for longer distances, modems can be used. The multidrop configuration allows for more than 2 devices to be connected to the same communication line. The host device should be configured as a master device and 1 or more IC600CB536 communication control modules configured as slave devices.
