Comm Control Type 2 Module CB516 GE Fanuc Series Six Module Board

The GE Fanuc IC600CB516 control module is a Type 2 communication control module. GE Fanuc Automation manufactures this module as a member of the GE Series Six product line. This unit is used in the GE Series Six CPUs to provide an interface between the Central Processing Unit (CPU) and the basic I/O chain because it helps to control the data transfer between the CPU and other peripheral devices, including the DPU and PDT devices. The IC600CB516 control module has 4 LED indicators which are designed to simplify troubleshooting. These LED indicators can be seen through the clear plastic window on the faceplate and they are used to indicate the continuity conditions, the I/O chain parity, the status of the I/O, and whether the module is enabled or not. The other LED is used to show whether there is any problem with the DPU interface.
